welcome back chardonnay and congrats...its such good news....i think FF needs to turn into some kind of wedding planners meetings...all the guys can go off and talk seriously about finances (!) and the women can all plan the hats and the dresses....got to get it all into perspective eh???

skippy....dont despair...we can all gang up on dave...we can get gary to give him some good advice ...or maybe you can "make him and offer he cant refuse."
anyway..back to chardonnay.....congrats to you both....i will head off to bed now with happy thoughts....

We're going out for a meal with my mum and uncle and aunt tonight, and then we're going away for the weekend. I wouldn't inflict my cooking on him!

Hi All,
Thanks for all your messages and happy birthday from me too I hope your meal was lovely!!
Gary is an inspiration to all - taking me on with my previous problems, depression,an IVA, no money, etc,etc I am sooo lucky!!
Origionally we were planning for the big day in 2010 - but as we can no longer plan a "little one" thanks to my illness and impending op, we decided to bring the wedding forward to next summer so we have something to look forward to!!! Gary has a son already and thanks to the two dogs his ex-wife has deposited on us we now have six dogs - the Scottie Terrier gave birth to four lovely puppies three weeks ago!!
On the wedding front Gary has a friend who owns a wedding shop which is closing down - it has a full stock compliment which is going cheap!! We're going over on Saturday to pick the bridesmaid dresses, my dress and hopefully outfits for my sister (Maid of honour) and Gary's sister - we are assured bargains. I'll take some pictures of things available, with prices, if anyone would like to see??? Let me know!!
Right that's my news, let's see if I can help any members with problems.
Love to all,
Caerrie

email winging its way to you [:)]

Look forward to seeing the pictures of the dresses!

Have you any of the puppies? We love looking at dogs on here and it would be great to see them.

Sorry you won't be hearing the patter of tiny feet, but your health is paramount. If it's the op I think it is, I had it a few years ago. Does take time to get over, but then you'll be fine afterwards.

Skippy, have a good meal tonight and a happy birthday to Dave from me as well.

I don't know! I tried to post pictures of my new dog, and couldn't, so Admin did it for me!

If I remember rightly, I asked if they could do it, and I then sent an attachment.

I'm useless when it comes to doing anything like that!

Happy birthday to Dave Skipp, enjoy your meal.

Chardonnay, I would love to see piccies of your dresses, I love the wedding planning so if you need anyone to bounce ideas off, please ask Admin for my email address. I never, ever get bored of hearing about other peoples wedding plans. After my own, I wanted to be a wedding planner, but hubby said I am too much of a control freak![:0]
