I very much doubt the IP company keep tabs on you - they just wouldn't have the time or the staff to do it.
I will not say that I will never have credit again - just won't go stupid with it.

Hi All thanks for the thoughts on this question as I said no credit for me Grant Thornton have been so helpful so far that I would hate to break the relationship we have had by doing something silly. As stated in a previous post I am only 7 payments from finishing my IVA but have had problems with where we live and are temporarly homeless at the moment we are staying at my girlfriends house as an emergency measure and need to complete a new income and expendure sheet to see how we can get a deposit and rent together to get in a new home all this means x-mas is looking pretty bleak at the moment until GT decide where we go from here I just cant see how I can all this money together.
Not good Adam - hope you can get a new place and that you have a good Christmas even though you're having problems.

Hi Kalis I need to contact my IP tomorrow I have worked out a new income and expendture sheet and can just afford to keep my IVA going however what we need is a couple of payment breaks to get the deposit and months rent in advance together hopefully this will be acceptable to the IP and even if they have to back to the creditors and ask them for the breaks and add them on to the end surly this is better than an IVA failing all together espacally as it has come so far.
Hopefully your IP will allow this, I can't see any reason why they wouldn't.

Hopefully this will be OK I do alrady have some arrears but I have been paying these off every month was thinking it is surly not of benefit for the creditors to fail the IVA with it being so close to the finish and the fact it can be recovered quite quickly must go in my favour? Also I paid in over £1600 into IVA for bank charges so there should be a bit of give as there will always be ups and downs in 5 years
I am sure your IP will be sympathetic, as you say, no point in failing it so close to the end.
You might find it gets extended to cover the arrears but hopefully you can get things sorted.

I do hope you can. Got everything crossed for you.
Let us know how you get on once you've spoken to the IP.

Best of Luck from me too! Technically you can go into arrears (aka take a payment break) without your IPs permission as long as you stay within the level permitted in your iva. It is far better to have your IPs support though. I'm sure you won't have any problems!!
