As I was driving to work and listening to the radio this am , the DJ announced that Gorden Brown has entered GB into an IVA.I was blushing so much...he described it as being 'nearly bankrupt'/and refered to seedy advertising as though it was something to be very ashamed of. I felt awful. So glad I was alone in the car.
IVA has been brilliant so far.Just wish I'd never got here in the forst place. Can't believe a year has gone by since I was first looking into one.Cat

Never mind an IVA, the country is bankrupt! I read yesterday that the government will have to borrow around £100billion next year and they'll never learn, unlike the rest of us!

Have you actually been in your IVA for a year now Cat?

IVAs enjoy an unfair amount of bad press which has been brought about by unscupulous and inappropriate advertising by a few companies in the past. They are not anything to be ashamed of, and used in the right circumstances are a very good way of financial repatriation.

No it's 10 month now.11 in October.I'm still waiting for DFD to get in touch with me about a review though as my electrcity bill increased by £100 and I didn't want to wait to struggle.IVA always on my mind so I wish they would hurry up so I can calm down for another year.Mine's a 6 year IVA.Time does fly doesn't it.Xmas coming.Second one in IVA.Able to reflect over the past 10 months and things haven't been so bad.I've not even borrowed £5 off anyone.Everything I have bought it's been with cash[:)]Good feeling eh?

You're doing really well Cat. I know what you mean about the Christmas - it's nice knowing that everything will be paid for and I won't owe anything in the New Year.

I did find it a bit depressing when I popped in the local garden centre tonight to buy some pansies and the Christmas decorations were up!
