Oh no, we've had to leave him at the vets [:(] When they took the bandage off, he's still limping a lot so they want to keep him there for a few hours to observe him.

I'm stuck in work and trying to concentrate but I want to be with him [:(]

I'm hoping its just because the support has gone that he's limping and when he's used to it he'll be ok. Hubby forgot to mention the hairloss! So will ask that when he phones at 2 o'clock ( although I bet he phones the vet befpre that).

Bless him, I'm sure he'll be fine. Don't forget they also know how to go for the sympathy vote - Harry sometimes sits with a paw in the air as if he's got a problem and we only realised he was trying it on when I told Dave I was worried about the right paw, and Dave said no, it was the left paw!

I hope he's ok, and give him a cuddle from me when he's home xxx

It is awful when this happens. My little dog was poorly when we were on holiday this year, and my Mum had to get her to the vets where they kept her in for two days. We didn't get to find out until we got home, and I was furious with my Mum for not telling us, but she is now full of beans again and sometimes it is just best to leave them there.

It doesn't sound too serious, and they are probably just wanting to keep him a little more immobilised to asssess the injury. Try not to worry Julie, but I do know how you feel as sometimes it is worse than having a sick child.
Regards, Melanie Giles, Insolvency Practitioner

Oh no, they really worry you dont they? My Coley boy isnt well, hasnt been eating since Friday, he has a cut on his moustache. He keeps hacking and he looks poorly. I was sleeping downstairs anyway as my son was staying, I didnt sleep a wink as I read about a cat on the internet with the same symptoms as Cole and he has heart failure, so worried stupid. I know you get scary stuff on the internet but Cole had a nasty diaphram injury, perhaps his heart was damaged. One of the kids let him out this morning so I cant even take him to the vet. I keep telling myself he will be fine but I just want him checked out.

I do hope your little doggy gets better soon and that I find my Coley boy.

Oh Lily, I hope Cole is ok...you're right about the internet..a little knowledge can be a dangerous thing!

I'm as worried about Dobby as I would be if it was one of my girls. I'm just clock watching now until hubby rings.

Let us know how Cole is xx

Hi -yes he is insured thankfully...still though you have to pay it upfront and wait for the claim to come through. On saying that i'd go without before letting him suffer.

AR - please add him to your list for remote healing....I'll try anything to help him.....thank you[;)]... and thanks to you all for your concern xx

Has Cole returned Lily?

xx

Julie its best if they take the care now isnt it? I know its hard waiting but he gets the best treatment now when he is young and not heavy on a poorly leg. My Cole is at the vet now with my son, I have only just got back so didnt have time to go with them, I shall be pacing now although he did seem a little bit better according to the text messages I have been getting all day.

Dont you just love them to bits and isnt it hard when something goes wrong with a pet? People understand when its a problem with the kids....
