Posted - 08 February 2010 : 19:31:59 Was the property included or excluded from your IVA? If excluded then you can do what you like with it - but if a restriction has been placed on the property at H M Land Registry, then you will find that this can only be sold with your Supervisor's permission.
The purchasers solicitors will pick this up when they do their own searches in any case, but I think that you would be wise to advise your own solicitor in the meantime.

Posted - 08 February 2010 : 18:27:09 Hi There should be a restriction notice placed at the land registery by your Insolvency Practitioner to make your IP aware if you try and sell the property. I do not think that it can stop a sale but it will alert your IP Regards
