I would be having words with the companies that bought your debts Baldy, a couple of ours were bought out well in to the iva but all have dropped off at the same time. Not sure if our full and final early last year speeds up the process of clearing the file at the 6 year point.

We have been living in Spain for the past year, renting here (costa blanca) and letting our UK property out. We love it and it is now time to put down roots. Tenants have now moved out and after a quick spruce up it will be on the market, onwards and upwards. Quick question, has anyone bought here a...

I have checked the credit file and all the default dates are the same (August 31 2010)and correct, so hopefully not going to be a problem. We did a full and final January last year. Cannot wait to see the credit score rise from very poor to something a bit more respectable!!!! We left the UK in July...

We settled our IVA with a full and final a while back, the end of this month marks our 6 year anniversary of signing up for this journey.
Thank you all for your support in the *early years*. I haven't posted for a long while but do appreciate all the help I received. You are truly wonderful people.

Hi everyone, we settled our iva early with a full and final. Only one creditor voted no. My husbands credit score went from very poor to a respectable good on EXperian shortly after we completed. He has just checked the score now and it has gone back down to a measly very poor. All the accounts that...

Thank you Lesley, I cannot believe how fast the certificate was issued.
It is a strange but lovely feeling that all we have now is a mortgage!!!
I cannot wait to see our credit scores when the debts are cleared. Plus the iva will be off our files August 2016.

Good times are coming.

Our iva was originally approved because I became too ill to work, one wage just could not pay the bills. Last year we wrote a letter to the creditors stating my illness was progressing and we wanted to leave the country for sunnier climes. Back up your situation with evidence, the more the better. T...

I have heard it was included in some contracts where the debtor was unaware of it. I won't be looking at trying to claim any back. I was just questioning what happ...
