Shortly after completing our IVA, we needed to change my car. I was worried about getting finance but took a chance with CL4U (Car Loans for You). They were very good, and I informed them that I had been in an IVA. My credit files were not showing any defaults or public information about the IVA, wh...

Congratulations. Your IVA company will inform the land registry to lift the charge on your property. Like luluj has already said, just check the dates and then all should take care of itself. Your name will be removed from the IVA register within 3 months, think mine took 2 weeks.

I know when we had to extend, it was at the monthly payment that we had been paying in our 5th year. If they are not prepared to review or if review is not allowed, then you may be better paying the whole amount in one hit. Rather than draw from the pension, would you be able to borrow from a friend...

Firstly congratulations on admitting that you have a problem and need help. Has your IVA been approved yet? If not it might not be too late to contact one of the recommended firms on this forum. However, if you have signed or are too late to pull out without having to pay costs of work already done,...

Hope an expert wil...

Hi you would need to talk this through with your IP. If they were to allow you take out finance with Moneybarn, one condition may be that you would extend your IVA to ensure that the minimum dividend (if one was stipulated in your agreement) was reached. The only one who can advise I am afraid is yo...
