With respect Merlin, I doubt the police would do anything.
You are reporting a criminal offence, the police will deal with it believe me.

Send a copy of your completion cert to them, by recorded, signed for, delivery. If after that they still persist in contacting you keep a diary record of all their calls and letters etc. Refuse to answer any 'security' questions they ask when phoning you, state you have sent the CC and will not enga...

Really, don't worry about it. If it was raised as a concern (which I very much doubt) you have a reasonable explanation as to why.

Shouldn't cause too much of an issue. If this is a monthly deduction then you need to cancel it now as your Bank will most likely withdraw any credit line and cancel the credit card once they get to know about the impending IVA.

Keep a record of the correspondence to date, send the CC again by recorded delivery and then just ignore everything from them. Let them do the running about, you can then claim compensation from them if it ever gets to summons or court appearance for harassment and distress. If they ever send anyone...

Topic: Can an IVA company take your tax refund?

I had 2 Tax refunds during my IVA, both were sent directly to me as a cheque and I then paid my IVA company once I had submitted them through my Bank for clearance. Both were under £500, but my IP wanted all of the funds.

Great advice off Foggy, Lisa we all had this problem when we started the IVA route. Take solace in the fact that it does actually get easier as time goes on. We all seem to have the knack to adjust and adapt what we eat and where we buy it from, going without is again something we just have to adapt...

All fees should have been recovered via your monthly payments? Are you sure that the demands for fees is from your IVA company, legitimately. Is this for fees or in lieu of equity on your house?

Aperture are actively seeking PPI, even from closed IVA. Today I got a letter off the, I was with Grant Thornton, asking to sign paper work to recover PPI. It is going to be fruitless as I personally claimed all PPI for my IVA pot during the IVA, but then it's their fishing trip and will cost me not...

found it difficult to keep track of posts and navigate round the forum (for me anyway). I have just found it so much more difficult to do anything as well as keep up with and respond to new threads. I still visit, but find that I do not respond to as many threads as I used to.

Believe it or not but Max Recovery are very IVA savvy, they understand the process and once shown the paperwork have no problems in leaving you alone. What they are sending you are annual statements, these I believe should be sent by all creditors, but most don't. Max are just conforming with there ...

More than just the score, your report also needs to demonstrate a solid history of paying back lenders. This is why it is important to have a contract phone, utility bills paid by DD and possibly a credit card that irrespective of the APR is paid back religiously every month on or prior to the due d...

It's not something I bother ed about while in my IVA, I could see that there were some defaulting, some partially settled and others who just showed everything was OK! Until the last throws of your IVA I just wouldn't even bother with how they report as you are shot for credit until the IVA is over,...

Your Husbands IVA company have no legal right or any way to force you to divulge your income. You can refuse to co-operate with their requests and just be calculated at 50% of the bills as a factor for them to work out his disposable income.
