I got a new fixed rate mortgage with Halifax when mine expired and my payments actually went down £100 pm. Though they would not take the extra £100 and reduce the term.

I got my completion certificate on 20 April and came off the insolvency register on 27 July and went back on insolvency register this month

Aperture rang insolvency register and they state that they updated the register on 27 July to state IVA finished and then 3 months after that they remove it from register = 6 months. I had a gym membership through my 6 year IVA and it didn't matter how many times I went, the cost was the same. That helped keep my spirits up when times were hard. It was also a place to go when I had to take AL fro. Work but had no money to go away

My IP informed the insolvency register, I informed the three agencies when I got my completion certificate. Two agencies removed my IVA from my file immediately, the third wouldn't do anything until I came off the insolvency register.
