That's good news and should hopefully full within the 6 months timeline. I would certainly be calling every other day after the 10th June until its received - make yourself a bit of a nuisance and hopefully if necessary they will expediate things.

Fully support Foggy's suggestive route. We used Ryan and his team and they have been excellent in identifying the right mortgage products for us over the years since our iva concluded

Interesting times - feel sorry for those mixed up in the changes as it all adds to the worry of the iva.
Let's hope the communications are a little more "open" and "informative" for those with existing ivas.

It depends on the charities specific regulations they have around financial matters linked to their trustees. In my iva I was allowed to continue as it was very specifically worded with regards to ever having been declared bankrupt .... have a good read of any constitution or terms of reference

Totally agree with foggy... Worth it albeit a very tightly managed period of time which we learnt hugely from. In coming months I think alot of people are going to be seeking help - see an iva as a 5 year loan. Break it down into small increments and it quickly goes. Ours finished in 2010 and since ...

I would give them a call and ask them to review your case for you. I would be just as anxious wanting to know what the change is rather than waiting for a few months for them to contact you. Let us know how you get on.

I agree with Foggy it isn't going to generate a positive outcome going in too low. The offer should be as close to the remaining payments as possible. You can try lower but for me I'd go with remaining payments minus three months (you'll be still paying this whilst waiting for the full and final off...

If you finished in Feb 22 and waiting on your completion certificate I would simply answer the call and direct them to your iva company - you are protected as foggy and kallis have said and although you don't want to open up those old conversations I would be doing so, as it is better than a knock o...

@iva2010a I stand by my post of several months back - I don't condone the hiding of information that you did when your iva was live. Not only you hid the equity from a sale of undeclared property, you failed to declare the receipt of CSA that was paid into a relatives account so that it was "hidden"...

First review nerves- I remember them well.

Just ensure your income and expenditure truly reflects your day to day living - it is what it is right now and everyone is having to consider their spends on all levels, so you won't be alone in asking for greater flexibility.

Let us know how it goes.

The £150 will be paid out only once the first direct debit has been taken from the bank account for 22/23 Council tax - they have until September to pay it out so its a variable feast
