I know this is probably not the right place to post this but I will anyway just in case there are NHS workers out there who are in an IVA and on this forum

I had to go in to Hospital yesterday for a Colonoscopy and I have to say a great big thank you to all NHS Staff. What a great bunch of people you are - you made me feel at ease, were very friendly and explained everything. You made my stay a most pleasant experience and pain free thank god!!!

So Thank you and you all really do deserve more appreciation[:D]

I work for the NHS and can tell you that for every one person who says thanks we have 20 who couldnt give 2 hoots about us,but the one person who is grateful cant half make you day!!!
I am glad you got through the procedure with as little pain and discomfort as possible.
Discharged today the 8th feb 2012. View is much brighter now.
Continuing to rebuild our credit worthiness.

Really nice to hear that Ray, I work for the Nhs and all too often we only get to hear the complaints, so nice to hear the appreciative ones. Hope all went well.

Hi Ray,

I had a Colonoscopy 3 years ago as well but my Experience wasn't so pleasant[:(] Hope you are feeling better now[:)]

I agree, The NHS do a Wonderful Job and don't get enough appreciation in what they do for others. 3 years ago, I was seriously ill and in Hospital for 2 weeks and in all that time, they did everything they could to make me feel better. I was even on First name Terms with them[:D]

Also, while on this Subject, would like to Thank anyone on here who gives Blood. I have a lot to Thank them for as without their help, I wouldn't be writing this now. They all deserve a pat on the back[:)]

Hi Ray,
A big thank you for this lovely post from all NHS workers. As previously said we get lots of moans and complaints or no feedback at all so a note like yours is very welcome.
I hope you are now totally recovered and don't need any further treatment.
Best wishes,
Chardonnay

Hi All,

Just to say as so many people have asked - everything was ok and as far as I am aware I am in the clear. Just got an outpatients appointment in 4 weeks and that is it.

Hi Ray, many thanks for your lovely posting, i too work for the NHS which unfortunately can be stressful and sometimes unappreciated as well so it does my heart good when we recieve such heart felt thanks it does wonders for moral etc.
Om shanti, namesté, good luck to all who are embarking on the IVA journey, it isn't always an easy one but the outcome is the best.

IVA COMPLETED August 2012, received Completion certificate 18.4.13.
