I have paid my IVA for 5 years and did not miss any payments, but as i was unemployed for 3 months, i am in mortgage of £1500 arreas, and cannot rise the final payment of £16500, the IVA Company have asked me for a preposal within 14 days as i am unwilling to sell my house otherwise they terminate the IVA, which they state will almost certainly lead to bankruptcy, any advice

No-one is getting mortgages whilst they are in IVAs at the moment, Larry, regardless of whether you have mortgage arrears or not. Instead of threatening you with a termination of your IVA, your IP ought to be trying to help you to find an alternative solution - such as an end at the end of the the 60th payment or perhaps a further year's worth of payments if you actually have any equity in your property.

Did you receive any redundancy money when you lost your job?
