The IVA ended in Aug 2012, but were still waiting for out Cert of Comp - how long do they normally take, and at what point are we justified in making a complaint to the FSA or Insolvency service? Were not keen to seek any new credit, but we DO want to start repairing our rating..........

Who are you with Andy ? Some IP's are issuing with in weeks, yet a couple take, literally, years ! As well as creditor inaction, most delays are down to PPI investigations.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

It really is varying at the minute. I'm awaiting mine too but only been waiting a short time in comparison to you. Well done on completing though and hopefully it won't be long.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Hi Foggy, well it started off with "Debt Assist Direct" and was transferred to " Mitchell Charlesworth" in the last few Months - not sure why! We have the opportunity, but not excercised it, to, have a pop at some of the creditors with our own PPI claim, but that seemed a bit perverse all things considered. I wasnt sure if there were any regulations that governed when the CompCert should be issued - potentially taking years is a worry if I am honest. I wonder how we can (if at all) speed that process up?

Lesley - thanks, yes completion was fun and we havent looked back......as you will now know, its like a ball and chain being removed.... :-) The final chapter now is that certificate!

fiscal no mans land! Not much you can do to reapir things right now. Once you have your CC and six years is past your CR repairs itself, in fact you'll likley to end with a very high credit score, it's just the way it works
