My previous limited company, put into liquidation, is owed money. Are they an associated creditor ?

Hi there, I am trying to enter into an IVA and my previous Ltd Co has been put into liquidation etc. The problem is that the Limited Company is owed quite a sum of money but the HMRC is refusing to accept their vote suggesting they are an Associated Creditor? I have checked with the Official Receiver of the old Limited Co and he said that they are not and I need to clarify matters either way?

The limited company is an associate creditor and has a different vote to other creditors. Your IP should be able to explain this.
