Hi I completed my 5 year iva in October 2014 im now trying to get a mortgage with my husband but am struggling because of the iva. I've been told i will pay around 7% plus a 1.5% fee of the loan and £1,500 to the broken as I'm seen as High risk. My experian report is excellent and I have 3 credit cards which I pay full amount every month. A friend of ours has offered to be a guarantor with my husband. How long could it be before His name can come off the mortgage and mine put on. U would appreciate your advise. Many thanks

As Luluj suggests I would have a word with Ryan and / or Shaun, who both have a lot of experience in dealing with adverse credit.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Hi Gemma,
Sorry to say but whilst the IVA still shows on your credit reports ie 6yrs from date you enetred in to it, you are not going to find many companies that will help you.
