Yes - the general rule of thumb from a couple of years ago was that if you went into bankruptcy or an IVA and you were over the age of 55 these funds were potentially accessible.
IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.

Again, yes, unless pension funds and proceeds have been specifically excluded in your arrangement.
