I have paid my 60 installments but have been told that my meeting has been adjourned for the creditors to cast their vote, what does this mean as I ccancelled my standing order in Feb after being informed by diff to do so

If you have paid everything I do not understand why a meeting was called. Has your IP explained what the meeting is about?

Perhaps the meeting was for PPI. I have just had a variation meeting carried out in order for DFD to continue to proceed with claims for any PPI which would enable them to close my account & send my certificate of completion whilst claims continue.

Hi Pete -- Paul said "after being informed by diff to do so" and I guess the assumption was that this was supposed to be DfD.

Many DFD clients will have got this email as they are holding these "meetings" in bulk to deal with the PPI backlog.

I am afraid to say that communication is not the forte of these larger companies !

I daresay, if they were better at it, many of the problems that arise during an IVA could be nipped in the bud.

But, along with the communication, common sense seems in short supply too !
