The extension thing was never mentioned to me either, I did not know anything about this until reading about it on here. Shall I just ring them and say my dad will pay it off for me, im so nervous.

Ring but state that it is a potential full and final offer - if you say "pay it off" they will think it is the full amount, fees, statutory interest etc.

Wording is everything especially if you have one of the really large companies like GT.
IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.

If the house isn't mentioned in your arrangement and there is no mention of equity release, do not bring it to the table now.

Just say that your dad is willing to offer £5k as a full and final offer to close the IVA early and that these funds are only for that purpose.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Just off the phone to them and they seem to think 5k will be accepted by them and told me just to get my dad to write a letter and send it into them to start it off. Fingers crossed.
Thanks again everyone

YES YES YES My variation meeting was today, everyone that voted, voted to accept apart my main creditor who have the casting vote, they are company called IMD who did not turn up or vote in it so it has been accepted. I have been informed by my IP company that once I have made my payment it will take them 3 weeks max to finalise everything and get the final paperwork to me. Im just off the phone to my IP, I thanked them for the quick and easy way they took care of my whole situation and I told them that I would recommend them on here so if anyone is interested they are called Bridgewood financial management in Nottingham. Thanks you all too for the help and advice given. YAY
