Apparently they are one of the "free" iva companies.
IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.
The DMP side is free the the IVA side charge the same as other companies.

The rate it's going there won't be any DMP companies anyway. Most are still yet to receive final authorisation with concerns linked to whether they can maintain regulatory compliance.

Personally I wouldn't use them. But that's just me.
As LNE says they tend to grab all of the household income, which effectively means your spouse would be paying your debts. But my biggest problem is that they have very few IP's compared to the number of clients they get fed by the creditors and you will NEVER get to speak to an IP if things go wrong!
Woah, glad I read your post. What if you're living with people that aren't your spouse. They can't be considered can they?

If you are a lodger and paying rent then I don't think they can but if you are living together as a couple then they can and do.

I suppose it would depend on whether or not the person in the IVA is the lodger - if so then I wouldn't have thought they could take the householders income into account.

I doubt they would take a lodgers income into account, apart from the rent they would be paying. However, I did have a "discussion" with a Payplan rep on another forum (before I was banned) and he said (although I have no personal experience of seeing this happen) that they also take the income of working children !
His arguement was that all of the household have probably benefitted from the proceeds of the debt (holidays, furniture etc.) so all should repay them !
If this is wrong and they do not do that I would welcome being put straight by the Payplan rep who looks in here every now and again.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014
I think you are right Foggy - we were fortunate that our daughter was at Uni and so not earning but our child benefit was taken into account.
Again - if the lodger is the one in the IVA then I don't think the householders income would be counted.
