I had a IVA over 6 years ago with my late husband. How can I get property restriction removed ?

I had a IVA over 6years ago with my late husband who died in 2011,I now want to sell my property how can I get this removed from my property?

Hi and welcome,

Have you checked with Land Registry to see if it is still showing?

Has your IVA concluded? If so you'll have to speak to the IP company or send a copy of the completion to the Land Registry.

Hi if your IVA is finished the restriction should have been taken off at the time by your IP.

They do get missed form time to time. You can either contact your old IP and ask them to sort it out of send your CC to the land registry to get removed.
