IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.

I used them and they were fine but they do have good and bad reviews as do a lot of companies

my issue it I live with my partner in his house which he owns, I don't want him involved in my debt and he has already stated he would give any information about his income to anyone....will they try and make him do this? also with regards to the house they mentioned about remortaging even though its not my house?

I am with Payplan and they started out to be great, now I wish I had steered well away!

I am on about my 10th case officer, and everytime they email me it is from a different person. You CANNOT speak to or get a response from an IP and they started changing rules for me in 2014.

Started off only having extra income taken from me in August when I had my annual review, then in 2014 they decided to tell me they were going to take the income straight away when I got a pay rise in April.

I lost my job 2 weeks ago, and after calling them up to explain I got a lovely letter 2 days later saying I owed them £80.

Changed my bonus from being 10/50/50 to 50/50, and now in dispute about my equity as they have asked me to remortgage for £2,900 which is under the 5k needed for a further 12 months.

The way they have calculated it is very wrong. Even the Payplan website has calculation examples which they don't use and try to get every penny out of you.

I have raised a formal complaint with the government IVA dept about my IP.

Sounds a nightmare and I hope you get it sorted. Given the amount of new debt management business they are getting at the moment perhaps the IVA clients are not top priority. The numbers have certainly gone down dramatically.

It does sound like a nightmare! However, I don't see how they can change the rules from what it says in your original chairman's report!

Not good about the remortgage - glad you are challenging it as it sounds so wrong!
