Have they explained why you owe this ? Have you had payment breaks? Have you got equity in your property? Have you received a windfall of any kind? Have you earnt more than your agreed income ?
These are just some of the potential reasons ... your IP should provide you with a clear explanation. Let us know so we can offer further advice.

If you are at the end and it has finished successfully then it will be written off but I wonder if this is not what you mean. What does it relate to? Arrears? Extension? Overtime or bonuses?
