Hi I wonder if anyone can help.
My IVA started in may 2011 but due to a term of unemployment and not being able to remortgage it won't finish until may 2019.

My question is when will it be removed from my credit file, may 2017 after 6 yrs or may 2019 when it finishes

Thanks in advance

It will come off the file when, or shortly after, it finishes. However, the defaults for the individual loans will fall off at the 6 year mark, assuming they are dated correctly as the start date of the IVA.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

After you have your CC and after you have come off the insolvency register (3 months after your CC) and after 6 year anniversary mark has passed.

Some firms take up to 6 months to close and issues CCs so so it might not be until Feb 2018 that you come off the register.

Agree with previous posters, it won't come off of your credit file after 6 years like CCJ's, defaults etc. whilst it is still outstanding.
