I have a mortgage and i need to take out an iva will this go on my mortgage

No. An iva is not borrowing. It is a debt recovery tool. Have you spoken to anyone professionally about your situation.

Your mortgage and IVA will not be connected -- I would suggest a chat with a couple of firms to compare advice, they do operate differently, especially when it comes to dealing with equity.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

You may be asked to try and release equity as part of any IVA so make sure you get properly advised if you decide to investigate an IVA.

Hi,

Just to say that your mortgage company will be informed of the IVA and a restriction will be put onto the house so it cannot be sold without the consent of the IP.

Speak to a couple of companies as suggested. Vincent Bond (details under ask experts a question link on the left hand side of the page) can be contacted for some free advice.
