I finished my IVA in March. I was told I would not have to make any more payments and that I would not have to submit any more wage slips or statements. I received a call 2 days ago saying I need to submit 3 wages slips and 3 statements. Since I completed my IVA I really began lumping overtime..Lots of it..adding 50% sometimes to my wages. I asked although it was agreed I was paid up, will any of the overtime have to be paid into the IVA pot? He said he does not know but possibly if there is a big enough spike in earnings..I did not do much overtime when I was in the IVA but since I completed it I wanted a holiday so I really went for it. Hope i dont have to pay any of this to my IP? confused.

If you have made all of the agreed payments and all of the extra earnings post date the last payment then I would think that they have no call on this money. If they ask for any I would ask them to point out what authority they are acting under.

To be fair, Radish, I think paranoia comes with the territory the way some firms are acting of late !

In my short involvement with insolvency the whole thing seems to have changed focus.

I agree foggy ... in my opinion they are squeezing every last penny out of the customer and rules seem to change everyday depending on whay way the wind is blowing - reiterate - that's my opinion!

The do seem to be changing the goalposts and new rules keep coming into effect. I will post on here if they do ask for any more money off me. Be a big sigh relief if they dont :-/

Surely you will be allowed to keep this. I would fight hard to keep it. BTW, what company are you with?

I would have thought that as you have complied with your IVA and it is now at an end you will and should not have to pay over anything else Radish. If they try to though I would seek legal advice.

To be honest what is the next new rule to be brought out to penalise those who have dealt with their debt problems?

Im with DFD. I was told I would not have to submit any more payslips - then I am told I have to so confused. Guy on the phone was vague - did not seem to know if I pay anything - or I dont :-/

This may be a mistake as I cannot see why DFD would need your wage slips or whether they would be entitled to the overtime. Go back to them first as it may just be a simple error.

Thanks - I sent what I had to them and a letter explaining. I could have done with the overtime when I was on the actual IVA rather then now to be honest :-/ Work just got short staffed this year. I ploughed it all into a holiday so I dont get used to it - in case it ends.... I should have done this in the first place, a few years ago - work and pay for things rather then using my credit cards for everything...Hindsite is a wonderful thing but nice to do something with my own money then someone else's :-/
