Go to Equifax, experian and call credit websites. You can get the information for £2 and personally I would not bother with any free trials.

Your statutory report is more than enough for you.

You can check your credit file information at anytime by contacting the credit reference agencies directly. Visit their websites, phone or write to them and request a copy of your credit report. There is normally a statutory fee of 2 pounds for each copy. You may also have to provide details of your full name, date of birth, address and any other addresses that you have lived at during the last 6 years. The 3 agencies are Experian, Equifax and callcredit.
There is also www.noddle.co.uk which is free to join and will give a glimpse of your credit file but might not contain all the information on the 3 agencies but is a good place to start.

As said above - get the statutory report for £2 a pop. Free trials etc are simply trying to get you to sign up for things you don't really need.

Noddle is based on CallCredit I think.

I've used it and they have a free online system to request corrections which they processed quickly for me when I asked.

Noddle is free for life and it's the only one I regularly check, when clearing up the files I did request the £2.00 paper ones for hubby and me and used these.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I use noddle and pay £4-99 a month for annual credit report just to back up what is on the noddle one. Only signed up because I've one awkward default I'm keeping an eye on then I shall cancel the subscription one and stick with noddle.

just look up my report on Noddle,
its only showing 2 out of 8 defaults that went into my iva.both of which dont have the right default date.
why would the other not be on there , my iva was completed with a f&f, but should the other sill show till the 6 years are up. the goods new was it shows the iva as completed
IVA now over with and it was worth it.
now starting my life again,

You need to request the creditor update the default date. If it's significantly wrong it's worth doing as you want rid of them sooner.

I'm in the process of doing this myself as one was wrong. Also have to do this the other 2 agencies (Experian and Equifax).

Generally I've found them all to be pretty obliging correcting things.

Each of the credit reference agencies will show different creditors according to which ones report to them ( some do not report to any!). So, you need to check with all three agencies.

when you look on noddle at the financial information - there are 2 buttons at the top - open accounts and closed accounts - you might find the rest of the accounts listed on the closed accounts - i noticed that when my defaults were listed as settled that they moved to the closed accounts section. They are still there and will remain for the 6 years but they are not shown with the active accounts. Hope that helps.
