Hi and welcome,

May well depend on what the criteria is for your job.

You could make an anonymous call to HR just to check.

What job is is it?

As Kallis says, it depends upon what the job is and what checks they are going to carry out.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

It very much depends on the job, the sector you work in etc.
IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.

CCJ is totally different from an IVA so hopefully this won't make a difference.

That is good news. i am having another problem, which i have to have a Amex credit cards for the company expenses. my manager told me to apply for that already. i still didn't apply yet. i have noticed that the online application form says there will be a credit check. i am sure the credit check will be fail.
i don't want to tell my manager about my IVA and explain all this. what do i do now?

Can the company apply for this for you? It is usually a company credit card which you can have in your name.

The credit check in your name will fail. Perhaps it is time to bite the bullet and tell your manager about the IVA.

I find it unusual that an employer would insist that an employee takes out a personal credit card and which one to use.

I suspect it should be that it is a Company credit card in which case your employer should deal with the application and order you a card on their account.

Fingers crossed from me too, hope the job goes well for you. In respect of the credit card, I doubt you'd get one when in an IVA. Ask the company for one.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
