Who can remember the Ferguson Videostar VHS recorder with the wired remote control which was so long it could have been used for a skipping rope and at the time was probably the only remote control in the house! Anyway, Iv'e just counted all the wireless remote controls at my immediate disposal (do I not have anything better to do?) in the house. The list is as follows
TV............5 DVD Players...3 Cable TV......1 Hi-fi stereo..2 PS3...........2 XBOX..........2 Wii...........2 Car...........3 Ceiling Fan...1 Wall Fans.....2
That's a total of 23!!!! just glad they are wireless and not wired.
Is this the norm or not? count up how many you have, it may surprise you.
I should buy shares in Duracell |
If we all threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone else’s, we’d grab ours back.

Never had the Ferguson one, I had JVC and I don't remember that having a wired remote.
We've got:
2 TV/Sky 1 DVD 2 Wii 1 Stereo 2 PS3 3 car
I think that's about it.
We're not posh enough to have ceiling or wall fans! |

Success is not final, failure is not fatal, it the courage to continue that counts.

| My first husband was a wizz with gadgets and he mad us a remote for our tv back in the early 70s. All you had o do was clap your hands. The proplem with that was if you banged the door or dropped something on the floor and it made a noise it would change the channel on the tv.Fun if we had visitors. |

We had the tennis game which was wired! How boring was that?
I remember us having a Commodore 64 with a wired keyboard and it used to take forever for the games to load! |

we had an amstrad withthe cassette tapes to load the games.... I love Daley Thompson's Decathlon... was pretty good on that!
bring back the good old games. I'm looking forward to the Xbox project Kinect that is coming out in November. it will take over the wii big time.
All sensor games but with no controlers, you only need to use your hands. I have pre ordered it, my Jamie has been waiting 2 years for this!! You walk into your room and say 'on' and the xbox will come on.. lazy or what!

The decathlon was brilliant! We played it all the time!
Couldn't be doing with the XBox though. I love the Wii fit. |
