I cant believe it as we have almost completed our iva, just 2 more payments to go and we will be debt free on the 6th December when the last payment will have gone out of the bank [:D]

For anyone just starting or considering an iva it is a daunting prospect but its amazing how quick time passes once you get used to paying it, the most important thing is to get your I&E right from the beginning as this will give you every chance of a succesful iva journey. It is also a great learning curve on how to budget each month, its not easy, some months will be easier than others but with careful budgeting you will get there im sure.

This site is a great source of information and support as we discovered when we were considering an iva and thankyou to everyone on here for your advice and kind words over the last 5 years, you have been a godsend [:)]

Also many thanks to Mel and her staff who have been superb throughout and are a credit to the insolvency industry, thankyou so much [:)]

Ive not posted on here for a while but i have regularly been visiting the site and i will continue to do so and give any advice i can in the future.

Thankyou all for your good wishes and kind words, cant wait for the 6th December to arrive and make the last payment, christmas will be great this year.

I,m pleased you enjoyed reading my post, i know its not easy being in an iva and sometimes it does,nt work out for people but i want to highlight the positives as well as the negatives, If you can work at it and get the I&E right it is a process that can be achieved, yes its a long time and sometimes it feels like you will never reach the end but as the months tick by it is surprising how quick those 60 months pass.
