My husband has just been promoted at work, which is great news, but he's been told they need to do a credit and DBS check as he's going to be a manager of a well known large supermarket.
He has a copy of the certificate of completion, as it ended April 2015, and he has written it into the form that we concluded early.
Has anyone on here had any issues with employment, following an early IVA completion at all?
Started IVA 27th Feb 2012 - Due to complete 27th Jan 2018 !!
Full & Final submitted and accepted 30th March 2015, paid 10th April 2015 - 3 yrs 1 month into IVA
Completion Certificate received- 30th April 2015!!
I think every case will depend on the employers policies, whether they technically ask the right question (are you in an arrangement - No, have you been in an arrangement - yes) and what the role is so really difficult to say.
Given his IVA is complete I would like to think they would reject the promotion based on that and he's already an employee so has one foot in the door already...

I am sure Lisa means "would NOT reject"
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014
Well, after the potential worry of my husbands credit check coming back with the IVA on it and affecting his promotion, I'm delighted to say that even though it is still showing, they were happy that he has a certificate of completion and the worry is now over!
So pleased for him- he would have been gutted if he was told he couldn't keep the promotion !
Hope for anyone post iva
