My day has finally arrived and I could not hold all my excitement in for the day I have been long awaiting for for six years!!

I cannot fault GT for their speed in issuing my CC. Two months after my last payment and my CC arrived in the post.... PPI and VAT are still on-going but that's fine and aslong I have my certificate I am very very happy......

For everyone out their starting their IVA journey then hang on in their because the greatest feeling is what you are achieving/achieved towards the finish line.

IVA commenced April 2009 and completion certificate issued on the 25th August 2015..

PPI still on-going

Thank you for your replies. I feel happy today.

My name is showing on the IVA register. How long does this take to be removed?

Thank you,

It can take up to three months to come off. Some are done within days and others do go the whole distance. I think it depends on who picks up the file!!

The only problem though on the register its showing my old married name. Will this be a huge problem or can they go on reference numbers and or the address? Thank you,

That I don't know. Perhaps it might be an idea to give the Insolvency Service an email to check?

Congratulations, We were with GT as well and we received our CC quite quickly as well they have speeded up a lot lately. We are still on the register so it looks like we will have to go the full 3months. We finished on July 15th so roll on October 15th and hopefully we will be removed

Congrats bombshell, I think it matters who is at the keyboard at the Insolvency service, I was with GT (no issues) our names came off within 2 days of receiving our CC.
Last Payment made 04/12/14. Completion Certificate 25/7/15. IVA company GT. No Issues

Thank you peejayel and merlinl14...

I emailed the insolvency folk but they haven't responded yet. I keep checking every day but my name still appears on the register ;((

I am impressed though with GT on how quickly they issued my CC. Let's hope others that follow us receive theirs quickly too.

I don't know how long the PPI people at SHL will finish their investigations but going by previous response recently I don't think they know what the right hand is doing with the left one..!!!!

Hi. Quick question. I've done my final I&E and still awaiting the final report. What else is likely to happen in this period up to the time they issue the CC? I'm with GT/Aperture
*IVA started Sept 2010
*Last Payment Taken August 2015
*Completion Certificate Issued November 2015

Until you receive that all important piece of paper you are still bound by the terms and conditions of the IVA so if you have a windfall of more than £500 then it will have to be paid across until you reach the 100p in the pound threshold. After that the you are free.

since my last post on here regarding the Insolvency Register... I have been in touch with GT and the Insolvency Register regarding the update/removal of my details.

The Insolvency folk have been really helpful and they advised me to contact GT to confirm who I actually am. This has all be done with GT and GT are re-sending details to the Insolvency Service to enable the register to be updated and the removal of my name....

Just a wee update to help other folk on here
