Unless your IP wants to see bank statements (which a lot of them do) then they cannot see the activity.

We had to send off bank statements but that's more for payments in and direct debits. I think they're too busy for tiny detail but you could always withdraw cash if it was you didn't want them to see where you were shopping!
Personally, I never had an issue with it as we never had much spare to spend anyway!
2 things to bear in mind - Creditfix were rolling out an app that allowed bank statements to be downloaded.
Also be wary of any company that offers banking activity as part of their overall package. I'm not convinced they understand what the boundaries are.
IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.
I only had to do it once, which was when I made my full and final (obviously to check where the money was coming from) and I just blacked out other details and they never queried it.

Lisa, how thoroughly are they looked at? If you don't mind me asking.
In one particular case quite carefully - there was lots of unnecessary spending on designer items and frivolous items and I warned the debtor he would not be able to maintain his contributions if he continued spending in that manner, which is exactly what happened and I am now trying to help him with a variation order in order to avoid BKY.
