Here we are day 16 of no heating /hot water!
We were told the part had not been delivered on Saturday due to the wrong address being given. It now transpires the order was faxed without any address. So not only have SWALEC made another mistake they have also blatantly lied to us!
I have had 3 phonecalls from senior managers today all assuring me it will be fixed by end of tomorrow.
I have escalated the complaint to the ombudsman...so watch this space  |

This just gets worse and worse.
I really do feel for you! I hope the ombudsman can do something.
I'd be inclined to get in touch with the press or TV if you can't any joy anywhere else. |

I've threatened them with "Watchdog" and will not be afraid to take the step if need be.
I think I've been patient up to now....but I'm sorry enough is enough. |

I would go to the press too & once its is fixed - switch to a different firm, but get compensation first.
This is horrendous service & I bet you are not alone. Wheres Watchdog when we need it x |

The best thing was when I was asked "not to rant"....hmmmmmm I think I have every right to rant and very politely told the jumped up person so 
I'm sure it will be fixed tomorrow.......it surely can't go on fir much longer. |

Trying not to get too excited...but a part has been delivered this morning. Whether its the right part remains to be seen.
Waiting for the magical engineer to turn up now...surprise, surprise they can't give me a specific time! |

Wait for it...........its working!!!!!
Engineer finally turned up at 2pm and he's still here, but its all working thank goodness.
Next step is to sort out my compensation! |

I am glad you have it sorted.
We have had our heating off now for about 3 weeks. Luckily the hot water was still working. We have just fixed it 5 mins ago with a new wax diverter valve (We couldn't afford an engineer)
So we too will have a toasty house for the first time in 3 weeks.
This was the last straw for us to get our debts sorted - not being able to have heat and our creditors getting paid and still wanting more made me cry. So some good can hopefully come out of it.
I don't know what I would have done without water too x |
