Hi

Foggy has been regularly posting on the forum for four and a half years and the forum sponsors, Vincent Bond, have asked him if he would come on board and, as well as his usual postings, breath life into the Frugal Friends aspect of the forum as well as co-ordinate a more social aspect. I am pleased to announce that he has accepted

I am sure that you will all join me in congratulating Foggy on his new role and wishing him every success

Regards
Andam Davies

Congratulations.
IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.

Thank you all -- watch this space ( as they say).

Lisa ... Frugal Friends is (was) the social side of the forum. They used to have a dinner or BBQ a couple of times a year, but this kind of died out for various reasons. I have had a long chat with one of the MD's at Vincent Bond and we have decided to try to bring this back into being as both they and I share the belief that this forum shouldn't be solely about debt -- we have all addressed that or are doing so. This is a community and we want a more holistic view. Debt is socially isolating and more than a bit depressing -- so we want to get some sunshine back :-)

PJ -- I am making it up as I go along, but I am a co-ordinator and will be guided by what is wanted by all -- so any and all ideas welcome.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

As somebody who has hosted an event at my house and organised an event for forum members at a hotel it is vital foggy gets support. A huge amount of time and effort goes into arranging an event and it is dusappointing when take up is low or people drop out at last minute ... please support foggy's suggestions !!
