Hi,

Just read a post where dunctons who do car finance were mentioned?
What is the general deal on Finance in an IVA? My car bill is estimated at around £500-600 and its worth about £850 or so now. The thougnt of having to spend my money on an old car is stressin me out a lot.
Especially if a new car would in the long run keeps costs lower no?

Hi,

You would have to get permission from the IP and/or creditors and your IVA payments would have to be maintained.

Why don't you ring up your IP and ask?

As Jan suggests why not ring your IP? I can see your reasoning and I do hope things work out positively for you x

If it only has 85 000 on the clock it may be worth repairing, what does your friend the mechanic think?

Personally, I would see whether a newer car is on the cards.

Once you start spending that amount of money on it, it never seems to stop.
