I know a few posters on the forum have got contracts, I think T Mobile and Orange are the most understanding. Give them a call.

I had my contract before my IVA began and have just renewed the contract.

Hi,

It is unlikely that you will be able to get a contract phone whilst in an IVA unless you already have one.

It may be that you have to do a pay as you go for the time being.

have you got an account with virgin media.
if so there was a post not long back where a mobile contract was given as they do not credit check you as such but just check that you have run your account ok for phone, broadband,tv etc.
im going to do this at some stage as there rates and free phones are very good for existing cutomers
cc received 6th January 2014 now upwards and onwards

If you are already in a contract there should be no problem renewing.

Evadav - is yours the name on the works contract? If so then you may be able to transfer it across to a new contract in your name.

What network are you with?

Hi,
Thanks for your responses, my old phone was in the companies name, i paid for my calls out of my wages.
This contract is with Vodafone and they wont swap it over, need to start again as a new customer.
I understand the issues involved, but its pretty frustrating, apy as you go is n option, but a contract would be better as i need constant credit for work
thanks again

You can try for a contract but may find you are not able to get one.

Might be down to PAYG for now.
