My variation meeting for a full and final settlement is set for 10.50 15th April. Just found out my sister's funeral is 10.20 on the same day. What happens if my IP cannot contact me with any questions that may arise?

Hi, I would talk to your IP and tell them that you won't be available that day and to contact you the next with any information. It can wait a day or even two I'm sure.

Sorry to hear of your loss and I send my condolences to you. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I will call them on Monday to tell them.
Losing my sister makes me realise how life is really too short and you only have one go at it. I just want to get the IVA completed and start afresh. Many thanks

Sorry to hear of your loss. As Lesley has said your IP can work around that date and you can agree a more convenient time to communicate.

I am also sorry to hear about your loss and your IP will understand. Hopefully the variation is accepted but small compensation for losing a sister.

My very deepest sympathy for your loss Kaylgeigh.

Do let your IP know about the clash of dates, and that you will not be available to speak with on the day of the funeral for obvious reasons. If there is a need to discuss any modifications with you submitted by creditors, then the meeting can be adjourned for a day or two - and up to 14 days.
