I completed my IVA last year, I am now debt free and would like to try for a mortgage. I have 30% deposite for the house im looking at. Who would be the best lender if I can get a company to lend to me at all.

1. Check your credit file, dont forget the IVA shows for another 12 months after it is completed

2. I think a lot of mortgage companies will not even let you through the door if you have had an IVA in the past. I would think a specoialist broker would be the way to go. but others know a lot more than I do on this matter, so I am sure someone will have names to go to

Congratz on completing btw, I cant wait for August for me

If you look under the ask the experts you will see a couple of specialist brokers and hopefully one of them will be able to help.
