Hi
Myself and my Partners IVA is due to finish in July
What is the best way to try a rebuild a good credit rating ?
What are the chances of getting a mortgage ?
Are we likely to be contacted by any of our creditors trying to get more money
Thank you

Fiscally speaking there's nothing much to do, write to the CA's if you like but the IVA sticks with you until six years up
Then it gets interesting once all your IVA and defaults drop off a surprising thing happens your CR goes a bit epic! Many posters who have finished there IVA have posted this effect
Getting a little credit on one of those cards is like a blunt pencil-pointless other than for convenience so if you can live without so much the better.
I didn't bother with a credit card at all and post IVA (the six year mark) in the following 18 months did get a regular loan for car and a High St mortgage.
You may find it very helpful to talk to one of the mortgage brokers found in members section
