Hi Suzy. Congratulations of getting to the end :-)

Some people have had their name removed within weeks. Officially, however, it will take three months, but the IVA will be shown as completed.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

It can vary as Foggy says anything up to three months. It can be a very frustrating time, but it will happen and when it does it really does signal debt freedom

Yeah - agree with the above advice. Ours took 3 months to the day. Not that I was worried - I knew I was finished and that was good enough for me!

Is it three months from the day you receive your CofC or from the day the IVA completes?

We had our F&F agreed on 23rd April not received the CofC as of yet, I know this can can up to 6 months but wondered when we come off the Insolvency Register. We are currently still listed.
**23'04'14 - IVA Complete F&F Agreed with payments made to date oh and a fat PPI reclaim helped too. Completion Certificate received 23'10'14 ** After a couple of years of waking up and 'surviving' the day I now wake up and 'Live' for the day!!
**Any comments I make are purely my own opinions**

The Insolvency Service use the date of issue of the certificate as the start date for the three month period. However, there are some staff in the office who will remove names earlier ( contrary to official policy).

I have received a glut of requests from the Insolvency Service recently asking for copy paperwork relating to cases I closed literally years ago. So my advice to anyone who has concluded an IVA is to keep checking the register, and alert your former IP if your names remain on there for longer than the 3 months referred to above.

Thanks guys, I'll keep an eye on it then & if we're still there in couple of months I'll contact GT and ask them for an update.
