oh I have been waiting a long, long time to see this anniversary! I have done 5 years of payments, now only 1 to go. 60 months down, 12 to go. Light nearly is at the end of the tunnel.

It gets me emotional just remembering the phonecall to the insolvency practitioner as the case was being decided. I prayed for it to be agreed and on reasonable terms. I was given a 6 year deal, which I hadn't been expecting, but I had to agree. It was better than the likely 20 years it would have taken me to clear my debt on my own, in other words a life sentence. And I had been battling the debt for 5 years before this agreement so it was my only hope.

One year. When I am released I know I will cry.

Hi Trixie

Good luck for the next 12 months, nearly there. I am sure if you look back the last 5 years will have passed quickly so with only 1 year to go it won't be long before you are enjoying your debt free life

Well done. I'm hoping this is our final year too. With no extension due to equity. (fingers crossed ) Think it might finish me off if we did have to do another 12 months

I know I will cry when mine comes to the end but at the moment that feels like it will never happen!

Well done on coming thus far, and I sincerely hope that the remaining 12 months run smoothly for you.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I just can't wait for next year to be here. 72 payments and hopefully it will all be over.

I have just gone into the last year as well, Next April cannot come round quick enough, I just keep thinking I more birthday (Aug), I more Christmas (Dec), lots of little milestones to use as a countdown.
If life is what you make it, I must have been in a strange mood when I made mine

That's just what we're doing Peejayel. It cant come soon enough. Hopefully the equity release will be in our favour. As its borderline
