Regarding a closure IVA report, what does the certificate look like, because I have received a completion report but no certificate.

Hi and welcome. The certificate of completion is one page of A4 and a paragraph of writing basically saying everything completed....... Mine was about 8 lines!
Sharing from experiences of dealing with debt

It could've been written on old chip paper for all I cared, I just wanted to see those words and see them signed by my IP...

seriously it is only a piece of paper but one when received marks a new start of your life, an official debt free start.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

It should look like a Certificate and be printed on your IP's letterhead.

Hmm that's a worry to me! Mine was with grant Thornton. It is more of a two line letter! Perhaps it should be something different?!?

Hi Blobby -- mine was from GT as well ... more of an afterthought than a Certificate of Completion !!!!
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

They are not doing anything wrong - as there is no set format for the Certificate. I just prefer to have mine looking like a Certificate - after all it is an achievement to successfully conclude an IVA, and I think my clients like to see something at the end of it.
