I am looking to settle my IVA in the next 4 weeks.
I would like to start my own baking business from home, would this be affected?

Yes you can.

You may struggle finding a business bank account on the high street. You will need to bank with CashPlus or Card One Banking for an iva friendly business account. But you should be able to get something a little more conventional once your credit rating recovers.
My opinions are just that: Based on my experience and being a self-employed IVA customer.
