Well - 4 weeks from my initial enquiry and my iva's just been approved!
The relief is enormous and I'm so grateful to McCambridge Duffy for their brilliant support. Five/six years seems a long way ahead but knowing that all my debts will be gone then is worth the wait.
I know there will be times ahead when things will be difficult but it's going to be a lot easier than how things have been before I started this process!

Congratulations ! Looking ahead 5 / 6 years seems daunting ... but, when you look back, the time will have flown by.

You have a good company behind you and Michael will be able to assist where required, I am sure. The (not so) secret is to keep good lines of communication open to avoid any surprises.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Your journey starts here! Ours has been a bumpy road but we have the finishing line in touching distance! The fact the you are using the forum is good. Shop for bargains but remember that you are supposed to be able to live in an iva. Use the forum and use your IP. We were lucky enough to have found the forum at the start and took a look at who to use. We picked clear debt but have always believed that we would have had good service from Melanie too. They have been great when when we have had problems with cars, the boilers, son's issues etc. We have made reduced payments, missed payments, paid overtime, repaid and the service has always been fantastic and most importantli, non-judgemental.

I know we felt guilty about our situation, but that is now pride in what we have achieved.

Good luck!
