My final payment has left my account!

I reread my blog last night and cannot believe how we have come through.

Two cars have died, boiler packed in, new puppy had, five tough years made possible by this forum. We haven't told anyone about the iva and this forum and the blogs have given me so much strength.

Thank you to Andy, moderators, mentors, size5, Melanie et al for all the advice. Thanks to all at cleardebt too.

Hubby has one partial arrears payment to make and we need to wait for ppi etc but I can wait! I have waited 5 years for this day and it must be about 15 years since we had no overdraft, loan or whatever!

Whatever stage of your journey you are, persevere. You will get there!!

If life is what you make it, I must have been in a strange mood when I made mine

Arrears paid :-) Nearly officially debt free! Need to sign and return a disclaimer (PPI I assume??) and my completion documents can get processed when they are returned! New window first month. Car for me as mine died after 15 years a couple of months ago and public transport is a killer in the new year hopefully. It is starting to feel real.

Many times I thought we would never get here but we have.
