Hi I'm 7 months into an IVA but I stupidly obtained more payday loans (my partner is out of work and we really are struggling) how can I add these on to my IVA or do I need to pay them off seperatly ?

Hi Holly

I presume they are post IVA pay day loans and are in your name only, so they cannot be added to your IVA and will need to be paid however the Pay day loan company should have never lent money to someone on the Insolvency Register which they have obviously never checked which is reckless lending

Hi

I agree with the Major, anyone can access the insolvency register via the internet so it is indeed reckless lending

Speak with your IP and ask for a payment break so that you can clear the loans

I would also suggest that you get your IP to review your I&E. You should not be struggling to the extent that you need to turn to payday loans.

If they cannot ( or will not) help, maybe it is time to consider other options --- do you own your own home, or rent ?
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
