We are currently in our 2nd year of an IVA. over this time - due to the IVA amount we pay - we are able to put money aside each month into a savings pot. we are planning to some of this money to get married which we have wanted to do for years. i realise its not a priority for some but we have been careful financially following the IVA and are comfortable we can now finally do it. Will the IVA company declare this as a windfall as theoretically its our own money - not a bonus nor overtime etc. if we declare this will they respond by demanding the entire amount be paid into the IVA?? please help!

If it is money saved from your agreed allowances and your share of overtime, etc. they will have no call on it.

As long as you have been upfront about your income ( declaring overtime, pay rises and such like ) there should be no come-back.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

How wonderful and shows that there is life within an IVA and you have something to look forward to. Congratulations and hope you have a wonderful day.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
