gophermoney have just taken £80 out of my account, can I get my money back ?

gophermoney have just taken £80 out of my account, they had consistently told me no money would be taken until I signed an agreement-I have not, how do I stand, can I get my money back ?

Hi and welcome to the forum I would ring them tomorrow and ask for the return of your money as if you've signed nothing they have no right to take money from your bank surely?
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Looks like they are lead generators for an IVA company. Let us know how you get on with your request for a refund and reassurance no further monies will be claimed from your account.

Might be worth shopping around for another provider who charges no upfront fees (only a suggestion).

Agree with Lesley ... Chat to a couple of providers recommended on the forum and see if they can help with your situation ... Not all firms take money up front.

You can contact your bank and tell them that there was no authority for the money to be removed. I believe they can then claw it back.

Hopefully the direct debit guarantee would come in to play?
