Your best bet would be to have a word with our mortgage brokers who post on forum: Ryan and / or Shaun.

You can find their details by clicking on the "Ask a Question" button (top left) and scrolling down the new page
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

I wouldn't bother yet till your credit files are all restored to at least 'no defaults' after the iva.
No broker incl those here will play ball with post iva mortgage till then.Relax....

I agree . I am sure that both would be happy to advise. I have been well advised by Shaun during the last year of my IVA

I think to be prepared and have that free chat won't hurt you'll know what is expected of you when the time is right. Both Ryan and Shaun have helped a fair few posters in their quest to get on the property ladder.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
