Hi, I was in an IVA for 5 years all monies were paid, this ended aprox 12years ago.
I have just received a PPI claim for 2k from Barlcays who have made the cheque payable to my 'trustee' this was cleared 12years ago I have no details who the IVA was with or what happens now? The PPI claim was relevant to loans after the IVA had finished & not relevant to those credictors who were included in the IVA claim back in the late 90's, please help?

I woudl suggest writing to Barclays and explaining that, because this PPI was taken out after the IVA it does not form part of the IVA estate and therefore the cheque should be made out to you.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014
